Zac graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2022 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, and almost with a minor in Photography… he was halfway done until his major's lab schedules conflicted too much with the remaining photography courses :(

Photography started out as a small hobby in high school, where he'd take photos with friends on his dad's camera and learn to edit in iPhotos (which was obviously horrible) and then in a pirated version of Lightroom (which was a little better). As a college student, he became heavily involved in the cultural clubs as both active member and historian, capturing photos at events throughout each year and using the paid version of Lightroom (student discount!!!). During his third year, friends from his clubs would start requesting senior grad photos, which allowed him to direct his focus to portraits. For the last three Spring terms, he developed his photography style through grad photos, which he would push to combine with creative ideas to create photos that are unique and a little unconventional.
